Extension lecture at KCW

The Punjabi Department of Khalsa College for Women, civil lines, Ludhiana organised an extension lecture on ‘Sahit ate Samajik Parasthitian Badalde Prepeikh’ (Punjabi kahani de parsang vich) in the college auditorium. Dr.Baldevsingh Dhaliwal, professor Distant Education, Punjabi University Patiala was the speaker of the event. He apprised the students about the different aspects of Punjabi story and its relationship with the society. He further added that Punjabi story has captured the society in its various shades throughout ages. Writers have touched every aspect intricately and beautifully through stories. There was an interactive session after the lecture and students asked questions pertaining to the Punjabi literature. A book titled ‘Lokdhara ate Nari’ edited by Prof. Jaspreet kaur, Punjabi Department, was also released on the event.
