62nd prize distribution was organized on March 21, 2025 in the college Auditorium

In the endeavour to acknowledge the continuing saga of glorious achievements of its students the 62nd prize distribution function of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines Ludhiana was organized on March 21, 2025 in the college Auditorium. Mr. Justice Harnaresh Singh Gill (Retd)., Chairman, Haryana Tax Tribunal, Chandigarh graced the occasion as chief guest. Members of College Managing Committee S. Gursimran Singh Grewal, Treasurer, Khalsa Dewan along with Madam Kushal Dhillon, Manager KCW, Director Dr. Mukti Gill and Principal Dr. Kamaljit Grewal, accorded a warm welcome to the Guest on their arrival. The programme got off to a magnificent start with the college Shabad recitation. The Annual Report was presented through multimedia highlighting the different activities and achievements of the Institute during the academic year. The persistent hard work of the students reaped rich dividends in the year 2023-24, where in students secured various 97 Top Ten positions in the university exams grabbing 11 first, 12 and 11 second and third positions respectively.
Physical Education Department managed to clinch 43 Gold Medals, 38 Silver Medals, and 35 Bronze Medals. The college clinched Ist Runners up trophy at the P.U Zonal Youth Festival organised at Government College for Girls, Ludhiana. Students Bagged 36 prizes in all, 11 first, 09 second & 16 third prizes. At the inter-zonal of Heritage Festival organized at D A V college Hoshiarpur bagged 7 prizes. College student Rupali Sharma bagged National gold medal in mimicry in 38th AIU inter-university National Youth Festival Amity University, Noida.
The Principal thanked the managing committee for their untiring efforts to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution. The principal congratulated the winners and motivated the students to continue their hard work and wished them good luck to scale greater heights in life.
The chief guest along with the members of the Managing Committee and gave away the prizes to the meritorious students for their par excellence performance in various fields. 63 students were awarded with college colour of which 28 students were awarded for Social and cultural activities, NCC 3 and 32 for sports. 80 students were accorded with merit certificates for their excellent performance in academic and co-curricular activities. 14 students were honoured for scoring 100% marks in university exams. Ms. Kamaldeep Kaur, teacher from English Dept. and Niti Sonkar, student of PGDCA were given the best library user awards. Damanpreet, student of B.A III was awarded with best student council member. Department of Fine Arts headed by Madam Ashu was awarded for achieving maximum number of top university positions. Members from the Yog Seva Parivaar Society also awarded a cash prize of Rs 2100 each to the top ten university toppers.
While lauding the achievements of the students the chief guest congratulated the Principal, the Director, the Management and the staff for holding the ever rising graph of achievements. The grand spectacle came to a close with the beats of National Anthem.
