The Humanities Department of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana organized a Freshers Party Enchante for B.A first year students on September 24th , 2024. The entertaining extravaganza comprising dances, melodious Songs, mesmerizing Classical dance and guitar performances, group dances and choreography was presented by the students. The hallmark of the day was Ms. Freshers contest in which a number of students dressed as beauty divas from under graduate and post graduate streams participated and contested for the titles.
Dr. Priyaka Khanna, Head Department of Commerce, Mrs. Ritu Ahuja, Head Department of Maths and Dr. Pooja Chatley, Head, Department of BBA graced the event as Judges. Diksha was entitled as Miss Freshers 2024 Gursimran Kaur bagged the title of Ms. Gorgeous, Bhumi was graced with the title of Miss Ramp on Fire. Mani was sashayed down for Miss Beautiful smile and Nandani and Harkanwal was adjudged Miss Confident. Miss Charming was bagged by Manya.
In Masters category Khushi was entitled Miss Freshers while Prerna and Khushi Singla bagged First and second runners up titles.
The Principal Dr. Kamaljit Grewal congratulated overall Incharge Mrs. Sabina Bhalla, Head Department of English on the success of the event. She also appreciated the efforts of the students and the teachers. She extended good wishes to the students for their new beginnings of college life. She further motivated them to work hard and scale new heights.
