The Fashion Designing Department and the Beauty and Wellness Department of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, organized the “SURKHAAB 2025” fashion show, showcasing the creative expressions of emerging designers in nine rounds featuring themes such as Traditional, Nature, Fire, Cinderella, Universe, Mughal, Vintage, Boho, and Feathers. Emphasizing environmentally friendly and socially responsible production methods, the event featured esteemed judges Kakul Gill, Amandeep Kaur—a celebrated designer—and Shreya Malik, a renowned makeup artist. Manmeet Kaur clinched the title of Best Designer for the Feathers theme, while Nishu and Harjot Kaur earned the honors of Second Runner-Up for the Traditional theme and First Runner-Up for the Cinderella theme, respectively. Mansi was recognized as the Best Makeup Artist, with Simranpreet and Arshdeep jointly awarded Best Hairstylist, and Yashika celebrated as Miss Perfectionist. Anshika was named Best Model for the Vintage theme, and the Best Theme accolade was shared by Sharvi, Akshita, and Shreya for the Universe theme. Additionally, Rahki Kumari received the Innovative Design award for the Fire theme, Raveena was honored as the Best Accessory Designer for the Mughal theme, and Chandeep Kaur impressed as the Best Runway Walk for the Boho theme. The principal, Dr. Kamaljit Grewal, the director, Dr. Mukti Gill, and the esteemed chief guest, Ms. Kushal Dhillon, Manager at KCW, congratulated the winners and commended the organizers for their outstanding efforts.
