The students of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana once again proved their mettle by scoring top positions in PGDCA-1st semester examinations, results of which were declared by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
A stupendous clean sweep of almost all the top university positions was achieved by the students. Nine students of the college have placed their names in top ten university positions. Simarleen Kaur bagged 1st position in the University by scoring 94.2 per cent marks. Mehak Sanan stood 3rd in the university by scoring 88.6 per cent marks while Garima Jain clinched 4th position in the Panjab University by scoring 88.4 per cent marks. Janvi bagged 5th position in the university by scoring 88 per cent marks. Shelja Sood stood 6th in the university by scoring 87.7 per cent marks while 7th position was bagged by Vimalpreet Kaur Saini who scored 87.5 percent marks. Sukhjot Kaur, with 86.8 percent marks clinched 9th position in the university while Sheetal and Vishavpreet Kaur Saini clinched 10th position in University by scoring 86.4 per cent marks..Loveneet Kaur and Yashika Monga have bagged 9th position in college by scoring 84.8 percent marks while Gursimarjeet Kaur has clinched 10th position in college by scoring 84.2 percent marks.
The elated students of the Department of Computer Science expressed happiness at the outcomes of the university exams. Simarleen Kaur who topped the university said that hard work of their faculty members coupled with blessings provided by their parents and the college Principal Dr. Kamaljit Grewal played an important role in their success.
