Traffic Club, Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana in collaboration with Traffic Police Department Ludhiana organized a lecture to celebrate road safety month on 14 February 2024. On this occasion, IAS Officer Mr. Krishan Pal, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Mr. Gurpreet Singh Sidhu, resource person Mr. Manmeet Singh and head constable Mr. Gurpreet Singh delivered their talks on road safety. ACP Mr. Gurpreet Singh Sidhu advised students to obey traffic rules and wear helmets while driving. IAS Officer Mr. Krishan Pal sensitized the young minds with various initiatives that government is taking to reduce the number of accidents on roads. Mr. Manmeet Singh emphasized upon the prohibition of use of mobile phones while driving and shown the repercussions of it through his video clips. Approximately three hundred students attended the lecture. Principal Dr. Iqbal Kaur appreciated the efforts of college and Ludhiana Traffic Police Department for creating awareness in students regarding safety measures to be adopted while driving.
