The students of KCW Ludhiana showcased their remarkable sports talent at the Annual Sports Prize Distribution Ceremony, held with great enthusiasm at the Panjab University Chandigarh on 28 March 2025. The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of students who excelled in various sports competitions throughout the year.
The Chief Guest, (S. Sarbjot Singh Arjuna Awardee in Shooting), Guest of Honour (Padam Shri Sunita Rani in Athletics) and Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig graced the occasion and applauded the winners for their dedication and sportsmanship.
Addressing the gathering, they emphasized the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among students. Top performers in Basketball, Road Cycling, Track Cycling and Softball and other sports were felicitated with championship trophies. The prestigious Best Sportsperson of the Year with 1,46,000 cash award was conferred upon Jasmeek kaur sekhon and Yaadvi in cycling, Manmeet kaur, Nandni, Nadar kaur , komalpreet kaur, Anchal, Kanishka in Basketball, Muskan Rathi and Prerna Tokas in Judo for their exceptional contribution to the College and University consistent performance in multiple sports events.
Also 10,000 Cash award for one of our employee Ms. Navjot who has a manager of Basketball team of Panjab University Chandigarh which bagged a bronze medal in All India Inter University Championship 2025.
