Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana added another feather to its cap by clinching National Gold Medal in Mimicry at the 38th AIU Inter-University National Youth Festival held at Amity University, Noida, UP from 3rd to 6th March, 2025 which saw the participation of over 2,400 students from 148 universities across India.
Rupali Sharma, student of B.Sc. II Non-Medical brought laurels to the college through her stellar performance and showcasing her incredible talent in the Mimicry event orgainsed by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). These universities were selected from approximately 1,000 institutions that competed in zonal competition. The festival featured 28 competitions, including classical music, vocal music, western music, folk dance, classical dance, quiz competitions, debate competitions, plays, skits, poster making, collage making, and more.
The members of the Managing Committee applauded the efforts of the faculty for earning accolades in this mega event. Dr. Mukti Gill, the Director and Dr. Kamaljit Grewal, the Principal of the college congratulated Rupali Sharma and the Mimicry Team for creating history through this exceptional feat.
