CATC 85 NCC Camp has been organized by 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC from 27th July to 5th August 2022 at Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana. Around 350 cadets from different schools and colleges are participating in this camp. Camp Commandant Col Aman Yadav, in his welcome address on July 27, made the students acquainted with all the rules of this camp and also mentioned about various activities that will be taking place in the camp. Under the guidance of Colonel Yadav, all the activities in this camp have been set with the aim of imparting combat skills and military training to the young students. During the camp, cadets will be given drill training as well as detailed knowledge about NCC A, B and C certificate examination. Young cadets will be taught myriad subjects like Map Reading, Field Craft and Battle Craft, Personality Development, Army Recruitment etc. They will also be imparted weapons training along with firing experience. Various games and other competitions will also be organized daily in the evening. 8 Associate NCC Officers from various institutions along with2 Girl Cadet Instructors and about 25 Parade Instructors (PIs) are ready to train the students for upcoming 10 days. All the cadets are excited to participate in all the activities of the camp with full zeal and enthusiasm.
